Visit an authentic masai boma
When you are on safari there are many opportunities to visit a masaai boma. On the way to the parks you find many bomas which welcome you for a visit. But…. as lovely as these places are they are visited every day by hundreds of tourists. That’s why we like to take you to an authentic masai boma. It takes about half a day in your schedule but it is definitely worth it!
Walking safari
Combine your game drive with a two hour walking safari guided by an armed ranger. It is a unique experience to view the wild animals from up close. Parks: Lake Manyara or Arusha National Park or Nature walk Ngorongoro conservation area
Balloon safari Serengeti
A balloon safari is a true adventure. Each flight is a different journey dictated by the direction of the wind. Sometimes the basket will be gently brushing the tips of the grass and then climbing, climbing through the layers of air until you’re high enough to see the curve of the horizon. Witnessing the plains of the Serengeti and its wildlife from the sky is an experience you will never forget.
City tour Arusha
You like to see the real Africa? To learn something about our culture? Our guide will take you on a city tour through Arusha. Visit the local markets, pass by the famous Clock Tower and have lunch at a local restaurant. Our guide loves to show you around and tell you all about our country and culture.
Bike tour Mto Wa Mbu (can also be done on foot)
Experience local cultures from your bike on a mountain bike ride through the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu. Along the way you’ll see local workshops, visit craft stalls, and learn about daily life in this vibrant community. Lunch is served under the shade of the banana trees, with a wide variety of freshly prepared local dishes to try. For families, there’s also the fun option of creating your own colorful Tinga Tinga painting – a wonderful souvenir to take home.
Manyara Treetop walk
Manyara Treetop Walkway takes you on a sky-high adventure through the beautiful forest of Lake Manyara. Walk among the treetops and experience untouched nature and wildlife from a unique perspective.
Night game drive Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara is the ideal location for a night game drive because of its many ecosystems. The park is a melting pot for all types of animals and plants – with the lake, the rift valley cliffs and ground water forest. Your night game drive starts around 20:00 from where you head into the thick ground-water forest of Lake Manyara. From the forest you head down towards the lake following the Simba River to the hippo pools. You will return back to the forest and finally be back at the park gate around 22:30.
